U.S. Funds Cut Food Aid for Poor People .

The U.S. government provided assistance to approximately 47 million people to help them buy food every month .The government raised the aid during the recession in 2009 which proved to be the biggest recession in the U.S. economy since the Great Depression of the 1930s . But the extra help that ended on Thursday , the end of October .Assistance was given to about one in seven Americans . But with the reduction of the program , a family of four people , who had previously received 668 dollars a month will get 632 dollars , down 36 dollars .Congress has been debating for months about the extension of the agricultural budget bill that includes coupons food aid , but were unable to reach an agreement .Conservative Republicans , who want to cut the size of the national government , has called for further cuts in the budget food coupons , but the fractions inhibited the liberal Democrats in the House .
