tabloid claims he "abandoned" their daughter Suri after the divorce.

THE testimony in Tom Cruise's legal fight against a German magazine
empire has already been pretty nasty, but it's about to get more
explosive with reports that Katie Holmes could be subpoenaed to sit for a
deposition.
RadarOnline.com is reporting that lawyers representing Bauer Media, the publisher of magazines In Touch and Life & Style, would compel Holmes to speak honestly about her marriage to the Hollywood megastar, and the couple’s subsequent divorce.A source connected to the case told the website: “The decision hasn’t been made yet. It’s certainly possible. A decision is likely to be finalised in the next few months.”
During the case, Cruise has already admitted that Holmes filed for divorce partly so that she and her daughter Suri could ditch the Church of Scientology.
If Holmes were to be deposed, a source said, there would inevitably be questions about whether she believed her ex-husband “abandoned” their daughter after their divorce - the claim that he is suing the Bauer publications for, alleging they defamed him.
Cruise has insisted that he did not abandon his daughter, even though he was forced to admit under oath that he did not see the seven-year-old for 110 days.
“Listen, when there is a divorce… things change,” the Cruise defended in a deposition in early September. “It’s not an ideal scene. It’s not an ideal situation.”........READ MORE
