Milan: Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti admits that he hopes to get a new contract after he returned to play after recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.
40-year-old defender was joined Inter Milan in 1995 and has played more than 800 matches for the Serie A club. He returned to play after being sidelined for seven months as a substitute in a match against Livorno on Saturday (9/11) at the San Siro.
Zanetti at Inter Milan contract expires at the end of the season but the Argentine was hoping to get a new contract offer.
"I want to survive and continue to contribute to Inter Milan. Match against Livorno was full of emotion. After a long hiatus, I'm happy to be playing again," said Zanetti
