WASHINGTON - Secretary of State United States (U.S.), John Kerry on Tuesday (11/05/2013) local time saying that the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks faced difficulties.
However there are a number he was optimistic that a deal can be reached to the two countries.
Both countries deadlocked on core issues, such as the borders of a Palestinian state, security arrangements, the future of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories, and the fate of Palestinian refugees.
"The Palestinians do not do the talks in good faith," said Interior Minister of Israel, Gideon Saar, as quoted from Reuters.com.
"(The Palestinians) locked in their position and do not show flexibility in their starting positions," he continued.
While Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in a speech on Monday said negoasi happens not stand on a solid foundation. (
