" If you can not avoid rape , enjoy it well , " said Head of Investigation India Ranjit Sinha , as quoted by the Associated Press , Wednesday ( 11/13/2013 ) .
Originally Sinha issued a commentary on the rampant gambling that happens in India . But when asked about the matter of rape , Sinha relaxed and just comment on the controversy.
Even on gambling , Sinha also asked the state to make it legal . According to Sinha , if the state can not stop gambling was made legal in order to better the country can benefit .
But the rape comment that caused Sinha criticized by almost people in the Bollywood State . What's more , India in the spotlight with a series of rape incidents that occurred in the last two years .Sinha also issued a plea on his comments . According to his words was taken out of the original context . Still people are already angry and Sinha urged to resign from office .
Rape cases in India is still often the case today. Most of the attention the case is the rape of student in New Delhi in 2012. Student was raped by six men in a bus , one of the perpetrators were aged teens .
The student eventually died from injuries he sustained when the rape occurred . While the perpetrator was sentenced to death , but one of the perpetrators committed suicide while in prison.
