Egypt: Rivals Clash On Uprising Anniversary


One person has been killed and dozens more injured in clashes between opponents and supporters of Egypt's military-backed regime.
Activists deface a monument dedicated to the protesters killed in 2011
Police backed by armoured vehicles fired tear gas and shots to drive protesters out of Cairo's Tahrir Square.
They gathered to mark the anniversary of the deadly 2011 demonstrations against the military, which took power after President Hosni Mubarak's overthrow, and a state memorial dedicated to slain protesters was covered in graffiti hours after it was inaugurated
