Angelina Jolie and children move into Vaucluse mansion in Sydney's eastern suburbs

ANGELINA Jolie and her brood have reportedly moved into a mansion in Sydney's eastern suburbs while she continues directing her film Unbroken.

The Hollywood superstar and her six children are believed to have taken up residence in the 1920s mansion Villa Igiea in Vaucluse, Fairfax Media reports.

Jolie also made a low-key visit to a local Rose Bay eatery, Grandfather's Moustache, where she and twins Vivienne and Knox munched on a pizza, according to media reports.

The US actress put a street in Sydney's CBD into lockdown on Friday while she filmed a period scene in busy Pitt Street.
Unbroken tells the story of US Olympic athlete Louis Zamperini, who became a Japanese prisoner-of-war after his plane crashed in the Pacific.
It's understood that filming is continuing on Cockatoo Island on Sydney Harbour on Monday.

Villa Igiea, once owned for three decades by Sir Peter Abeles, was inspired by a villa built in 1908 in Palermo, Sicily.
The five-bedroom pad is situated on 2,160-square-metre grounds and was built in the Riviera Liberty style with strong Italianate art nouveau influences.
There's no sign of partner Brad Pitt in Sydney yet.
